What You’ll Do

• Ship production-ready front-end and back-end code to accelerate our roadmap.
• Own the products you contribute to, from concept through deployment.
• Collaborate closely with our lead engineer (your manager), CTO, and senior devs.
• Grow into a leadership role as we scale.

The Team & Stack

You’ll be joining a highly skilled group of 4 engineers, all of whom have previously been CTOs or lead engineers. Everyone has deep expertise, and each person brings their own strengths. Our team is full-stack across the board-everyone is capable of contributing to any part of the app or system.

We’re a dev-first company, founded by a technical leader who prioritizes developer experience and automation. If you know Next.js, you’ll be productive within your first hour-with full support from our lead engineer.

Core: Next.js (app dir), TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL
Infra: Vercel, AWS
Other: LLMs, RESTful APIs, Tailwind/Shadcn, CI/CD, testing frameworks

About You

• Proactive & Independent: You bias toward action, iterate quickly, and make clear decisions. We ship multiple times daily-over 1,500 deployments in the last 6 months with a team of 4. You need to keep pace.
• Full-Stack Generalist: Equally comfortable across frontend and backend.
• Ownership Mindset: Thrive in a small, fast-paced environment (you’ll be one of two full-time engineers initially).
• Customer-First: You talk to customers, triage feedback, and turn it into product improvements.
• Curious Learner: Always leveling up on tech trends and bringing new ideas to the table.
• Strong Opinions, Loosely Held: You’ll become an authority on our platform-have conviction but welcome feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience building and shipping React-based apps in production (excluding internships).
• 2+ years full-time experience with Next.js in production (including app dir).
• Proficiency across the full stack: TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, APIs, cloud infra.
• Proven experience building from 0 → 1 with active users.
• Strong problem-solving and code-review skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and triaging product feedback.
• Must already be using AI in your development workflow (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
• US-based, legally authorized to work, available daily 10AM–4PM ET (flexible before/after).

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience deploying/tuning LLMs.
• DevOps knowledge: CI/CD, Git, automated deployments, multi-env setups.
• Strong testing background (unit + E2E).
• Familiarity with provisioning cloud resources.

Bonus Experience

• AI video generation via APIs
• AI audio generation via APIs
• AI image generation via APIs
• AI workflow tools (e.g., N8N, Flowise, etc.)
• Worked at an ecommerce or social media company

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
