Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in manufacturing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics and machine learning techniques to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement predictive maintenance models to minimize equipment downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and improve manufacturing processes.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design experiments and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Quality Control: Create algorithms and models to monitor product quality in real-time, identifying defects and implementing corrective actions.
• Supply Chain Analytics: Utilize data analytics to enhance supply chain efficiency, including demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Data Visualization: Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and management, to drive data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and supply chain management.
