Job Description and Duties:

Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, Technology Business Management Office the incumbent is responsible for supervising the work of Enterprise Architecture (EA) staff, including activities relating to project management, an IT Architecture Model and Enterprise Architecture Reference Models. The incumbent has responsibility for providing leadership in support of the Department of Developmental Services (Department) Information Technology Division (ITD) strategic goals and objectives, including oversight on most internal projects in support of the Department Enterprise/Technical Architecture; design and deployment of enterprise solutions as well as provide process support for Generative AI (GenAI). The incumbent applies a breadth and depth of technical expertise, a thorough understanding of systems integration and architecture, and diplomatic communication and negotiation skills to effectively represent the Department Enterprise Architecture strategy.

Desirable Qualifications:

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Enterprise architecture principles, frameworks and governance practices. Understanding of software and hardware lifecycle management, familiarity with GenAI concepts, risks and governance considerations.

Translate complex technical concepts from non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to changing priorities and resolve issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $102,048.00 - $136,740.00 per year
