Job Description

The Senior Network DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, and operating secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructure. This role blends deep networking expertise with DevOps practices to improve reliability, speed, and consistency across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. The engineer partners closely with infrastructure, security, platform, and application teams to enable continuous delivery while maintaining strong operational controls. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and development automation tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network architectures across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Apply DevOps principles to networking, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Develop and maintain automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar frameworks
  • Operate and optimize cloud networking (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), including VPC/VNet design, routing, load balancing, and connectivity
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of network services
  • Collaborate with security teams to embed network security controls, monitoring, and compliance into automated workflows
  • Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues across environments
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network-related outages
  • Contribute to architecture standards, documentation, and operational runbooks
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on network automation initiatives
  • Provide Level 3 support for corporate business systems and applications
  • Provide Level 3 support for data center
  • Support, update and implement system's standards, processes, and security to maintain corporate IT standards
  • Maintain, update, and audit system's documentation
  • Assist, guide, and work with our developers on projects
  • Understand software deployment procedures and push the software builds
  • Other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

· 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a DevOps or automation-focused role

· Strong understanding of routing, switching, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, and load balancing

· Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools

· Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash)

· Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git)

· Proven experience supporting production environments with high availability and uptime requirements

Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
