Rice Lake Farms, Inc

Full-time | Contract

Job description

About the Family: A calm and structured family in Creve Coeur is seeking a nurturing and skilled live-in nanny to provide loving care for their two children, ages 8 and 5. They enjoy an active lifestyle filled with bike rides, swimming, church activities, relaxing by the pool, and spending time with friends. The family values kindness, respect, and attentiveness, and hopes to welcome a nanny who will feel like an extension of their household. Mom is a stay-at-home parent, and the nanny will work closely alongside her to support both children and help with the flow of daily routines.

Their 5-year-old son has Down Syndrome and requires hands-on support for daily activities such as getting in and out of the car, navigating stairs, and other physical tasks. He is not yet fully self-sufficient, so the family is seeking a nanny who will prioritize his developmental progress. This includes guiding him through potty training, teaching him to self-feed, and supporting his communication development with patience and consistency. The nanny will also work hand-in-hand with his therapists and school team to reinforce IEP goals, ensuring consistency and progress across home and school environments.
