Software Engineer – In‑House Systems (Onsite, Long Valley, NJ)

About the role

Seeking a full-time Software Engineer to help design, build, and maintain our in-house business systems. This is an onsite position based in Long Valley, NJ, working closely with operations and leadership to improve and extend the software tools that empower our employees.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain internal applications and services using C#, Vue.js, MS SQL, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine specifications, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable code, perform code reviews, and participate in deployments using Git-based workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement robust fixes and improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation and help improve development standards and practices.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with C# (.NET), JavaScript/TypeScript, and a modern front-end framework (ideally Vue.js).
• Solid experience with relational databases (MS SQL), including query optimization and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with Git and common branching/merging workflows.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite environment and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on reliability and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with other backend services, APIs, or messaging systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, or ERP/MES-style internal systems.
