Job Overview
Our company is the leading Sofware-as-a-Service leave of absence management cloud application provider. Since 2000, we have been successfully providing our clients an online solution to manage federal, state and employer leave of absence policies to maintain compliance with efficient, easy-to-use functionality.

We are looking for motivated individuals to continue development of our web applications platform on a contract basis. As the Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and designing various web applications under the supervision of the Senior Developer. The position will require a high level of self-motivation and independent decision making.

Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Design, code, and test
  • Assist with maintenance and performance turning
  • Collaborate with Product team members to develop new features
  • Support releases
  • Assist with other development activities

Required Skills
Knowledge of the following:

  • ASP.NET (C#/VB)
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • .NET Framework
  • Javascript/jQuery/AJAX
  • Bootstrap
  • CSS
  • HTML
  • SQL

Experience with the following tools and platforms:

  • Visual Studio
  • MS SQL Server
  • IIS
  • Windows Server
  • GIT
  • Jira
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

** Bonus Experience **:

  • Single Sign-on solutions for web apps
  • AI experience: skilled with designing and developing AI-driven features end-to-end from prototype to production. Includes prompt engineering, data retrieval/ search/ security, and backend services/APIs integration.

Interpersonal skills:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal management
  • Proven technical documentation experience
  • Able to articulate technical concepts to other team members
  • Team player: ability to collaborate with other members of the application development team and cross-functionally with product users and customer support teams.

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of work experience
  • Experience in UX design is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
