Currently we have an opening for a part-time or full-time Housekeeping Room Attendant, House Person and Laundry Attendant.

  • Scheduled days will vary based on business needs and will include weekends.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate all shifts is required for full time positions.
  • Weekend availability a must!
  • Previous experience preferred but not required. We provide training!

Responsibilities and Job Duties Room Attendant:

Daily responsibilities for this position will include attending and cleaning guest rooms. Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Stock carts with rags, towels and cleaning supplies for the day
  • Pick up and empty all trash
  • Strip bedding and remove all dirty linen from the beds and bathroom
  • Dust & vacuum the room; sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces
  • Clean the bathroom counter, sink, faucet, mirror, hairdryer, toilet, shower walls with the appropriate cleaner. Replace all amenities.
  • Refill coffee and condiment packets
  • Check overall room condition and note any repairs needed to supervisor or maintenance
  • High standards of quality guest service, ability to respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Responsibilities and Job Duties House Person:

Daily responsibilities supporting room attendants and maintaining common areas. Job responsibilities include:

  • Clean common area guest bathrooms
  • Clean all common areas such as Fitness Center, guest laundry room, ice machine areas, business center, etc.
  • Empty the outside trash, ashtrays and remove any trash from grounds and parking lot.
  • Polish the elevator, sweep and mop the elevator and tracks daily.
  • Vacuum the hallways on every floor, stairways, front entry way, front desk and back-office area
  • Check meeting room daily; throw trash; take table clothes to laundry; vacuum; clean the windows, put away tables and chairs as needed
  • All other duties and special projects as assigned determined by business needs

Responsibilities and Job Duties Laundry Attendant.

  • Sort soiled linens and separate for laundering or presoak
  • Launder linens and towels accordingly
  • Fold and stack linens by size and type
  • Notify housekeeping manager of any low inventory
  • Restock storage areas with linens
  • Stock carts with linens, towels and cleaning rags
  • Clean washer and dryer at end of shift
  • Sweep and mop floor at end of shift
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

*Excellent guest service and communication skills *Must be able to stand for extended periods of time *Physical requirements such as able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, upward reaching and manual dexterity for extended periods of time *Lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds *Knowledge of the English language to communicate with guests and associates *Ability to accurately report information *Ability to follow all brand and hotel policies & procedures *Be courteous and professionally at all times *Previous experience preferred but not required

Job Requirements:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.

The physical activity normally entails the following attributes.

Position is expected to:

  • Sit less than 1/3 of the time
  • Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs. 2/3 of the time
