Progressive healthcare industry company, located in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, CA is seeking to hire a full-time employee to join their IT team as a SQL Server Database Administrator, DBA. You will work a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office and two days from your home. You must live within a commuting distance to the San Fernando Valley! The successful candidate will have 7-10+ years of SQL Server DBA experience, and MUST HAVE 4+ years of that experience in a government regulated industry such as healthcare, banking, financial services or related. Main duties and responsibilities include SQL Server production support, configuration on multiple SQL Servers, implementation, troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, mirroring and replication, automation using .NET or PowerShell, SQL internals, disaster recovery, backups, SQL log reviews, and High Availability. Healthcare industry experience with HIPAA security would be a plus. Salary range is $140-150K, plus excellent benefits, 401K, health, vision, dental insurance, PTO and much more.
