*This position is fully onsite to start, potential for hybrid arrangement as time goes on. No relocation assistance is available, you must be able to commute to Waconia office.
1Micro in Waconia, MN is a fast-growing tech company that manufactures and manages key security devices and inventory systems for car dealerships, rental car companies, and fleet departments. We are looking for a customer-focused, driven, and friendly DevOps Engineer to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities
· Maintain server health and stability in a proactive manner
· Maintain dev à test à production code promotion pipeline
· Update and release new and existing environments
· Able to write quality code in back-end and web environments
· Work with developers and engineers, participating in discussions concerning system design/architecture and best practices
· Stay current with new and evolving technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation
· Audit environment security, updating environments as the security landscape evolves
· Provide level 2 technical support as needed
· Field escalated tickets, perform root cause analysis and summarize for development/operations meetings
· Manage local network infrastructure to ensure high uptime
· Manage network and security
Hours and Benefits
· Full-time, 40 hours per week
· Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm or 1Micro offers a flexible schedule between 6:00am to 7:00pm
· Compensation: Depending on qualifications

Requirements/Qualification
· Onsite position in Waconia, MN – Must be local to the area, no relocation assistance available
· Eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, or related field. Equivalent work-related experience will be considered
· Experience with AWS engineering and administration, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian Variants), EC2, RDS (*SQL including Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL), S3, Dynamo, Cloud/ElasticSearch, AMQP, Nginx, DNS, and a cloud environment
· Experience with the following a plus: Route53, OpenSearch, CloudFront, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, Microsoft, Azure, AD, MSSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins, Altassian, AWS CodePipeline, Github/lab, Buildkite, etc), NodeJS (Express, ws, etc), PHP, Python,Javascript Frameworks (React, Redux, Angular, Svelte, etc.), Automated Testing/Unit Testing frameworks, Network/Protocol level troubleshooting (browser developer tools, tcpdump, wireshark, etc), Log analysis/visualization (Splunk, NetData, etc)
· Solution-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to react quickly and work well under pressure
· Strong organizational and time management skills to meet assigned deadlines
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with customers and colleagues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.46 - $52.88 per hour
