Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to food preparation, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety guidelines and best practices in handling and preparing food.
• Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals to guests.
• Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment such as a restaurant, hotel, or banquet facility is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
