We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom Sorter to join our internal logistics team. In this essential role, you’ll help manage the daily flow of incoming and outgoing mail, interoffice packages, and critical documents across departments.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys organized, hands-on work and wants to be a key player in keeping teams connected and operations smooth — especially in fast-paced office or campus environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages by department, building, or individual recipient
- Process outgoing mail using postage meters, labels, and tracking systems
- Ensure accurate routing of internal documents and confidential correspondence
- Operate mailroom equipment (scanners, folders, meters, tracking software)
- Maintain tracking logs and delivery confirmations for high-priority shipments
- Keep the mailroom clean, efficient, and stocked with supplies
- Provide support to facilities or administrative teams as needed
- Communicate professionally with team members, couriers, and vendors
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills; able to interact professionally across departments
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, tracking tools)
- Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs and move through large buildings or campuses
