Job description
Old Town Artisan Studios is seeking dependable, energetic individuals to assist with event setup, support, and takedown. This is a part-time position ideal for someone looking for flexible work, with most shifts occurring around scheduled events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up event spaces (tables, chairs, linens, décor, and audio equipment)
- Assist during events when needed (greeting guests, light service, cleanup, etc.)
- Break down and reset spaces following events
- Follow direction from the Events and Facilities team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for several hours
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in event setup or hospitality preferred but not required
Compensation:
$20 per hour, typically 4–6 hours per event. Additional shifts may be available for larger events.
Schedule:
Shifts vary based on event calendar. Must be available for immediate hire — our first event is this Thursday.
