We are looking for an Entry Level Software Developer to join our team at the Corporate Headquarters. You will join our existing development team based in Westmont IL, working in a Flexible/Agile environment. You will get to work and contribute to maintaining and adding new features to our existing insurance applications. We operate in a hybrid environment where people work remotely and onsite each week. Responsibilities *Work with our team of developers in developing new features and maintaining existing application features availability. *Assist our Team in deciding appropriate technologies to use in developing the most up to date features that reflect the future of work. Requirements *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). *1-2 years C# programming, SQL Server, ASP.Net MVC / .Net Core, Microservices *Experience with and integrating Web Services / External APIs, and RESTful services knowledge. *Exposure and experience with continuous integrations & DevOps *Previous experience and an advocate of working with Agile methodologies. *Continuous Integration & DevOps experience *Understanding of and experience in Agile methodologies and JavaScript frameworks *Exposure to Single Page Application frameworks (Angular, React) *Capable and happy to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines *Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. *Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. *Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
