Job Overview
Bergquist Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Security Manager who will take primary responsibility for managing and maintaining our IT security infrastructure while also providing secondary general IT support. This dual role requires someone with strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across multiple areas of IT. This role is based on-site at our Toledo, Ohio office.

Duties

• Manage and maintain IT security infrastructure, including network, endpoint, firewall and cloud security
• Manage and maintain server and file backups
• Oversee and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Perform incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management
• Provide general IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and cloud systems
• Maintain and support Windows, macOS, and Linux environments Administer Microsoft Active Directory
• Collaborate with staff to resolve IT issues and provide end-user training when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on
• IT/security experience
• 5+ years of IT security experience
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention.
• Understanding of Azure and Google Cloud security best practices
• Proficiency in desktop, server, networking, and cloud troubleshooting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Ability to travel occasionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
