Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to join our growing digital team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with basic development knowledge who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The primary focus will be on supporting email marketing campaigns (using various email platforms, including Campaigner, MailChimp, and our legacy platform), performing CMS updates, and assisting with basic web development tasks. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and committed to high-quality, error-free work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy eblasts using various email platforms.
- Perform regular content updates on client websites using CMS, as well as editing raw HTML files. Eventually growing into developing new components, pages, and full websites.
- Carefully proofread and test all work before final delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to meet deadlines and project requirements.
- Follow brand guidelines and technical specifications for each client.
- Stay up-to-date on web trends and email marketing best practices.
- Be open to feedback and eager to learn new tools and skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
- Experience working with CMS systems, such as WordPress.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to thoroughly proofread and QA your work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude and desire to grow in a digital marketing and web development environment.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Other tasks as assigned
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of responsive email development and email testing tools.
- Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
