Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Package Handlers. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of packages within a fast-paced distribution center environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that packages are accurately sorted, loaded, and unloaded to meet shipping deadlines while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Duties
- Sort and organize packages for distribution based on shipping routes and delivery schedules.
- Load and unload packages from delivery trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Utilize RF scanners to track package movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling packages and operating equipment.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage package sorting and inventory effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as the role requires moving packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners for tracking inventory is a plus.
- Previous experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment is advantageous.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in package handling and documentation.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high productivity levels.

Pay: $25.09 - $30.70 per hour
