Senior Technical Resource Manager

We are seeking a Senior Technical Resource Manager with a strong technical foundation and sharp business acumen to lead our technical workforce in a privately held software company, with a primary focus on billable utilization, margin, and profitable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software development, delivery, and support with a strong emphasis on billable utilization and margin performance.
• Own resource planning, allocation, and forecasting to maximize billable hours while maintaining delivery quality.
• Manage and optimize a remote, distributed technical workforce to ensure high utilization and cost efficiency.
• Partner with sales, delivery, and leadership to align staffing with pipeline demand and revenue targets.
• Drive workforce decisions that balance utilization, cost control, and long-term retention.
• Establish and monitor utilization metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in software or IT delivery.
• Proven experience managing billable utilization, margins, or revenue-backed delivery teams.
• Experience operating in a privately held, services-oriented or hybrid software company.
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven staffing and delivery decisions.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
