The Opportunity
Join CiSCO as a PLC Programmer and play a critical role in designing and deploying complex control systems. You won’t just be writing code; you will be the bridge between design and reality, ensuring our systems function as the industry's gold standard. Whether you are configuring HMI interfaces or commissioning hardware on-site, your expertise will directly impact our customers' success.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development: Program complex control sequences using ladder logic and Structured Text (ST). You will manipulate data via Modbus interfaces and hard/soft I/O to create seamless automation solutions.
- Validation & Testing: Lead the setup of test hardware (PLC, HMI/OIT, DAS) and use MODBUS simulators to perform rigorous QA validation before deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a technical consultant for Project Engineering, Operations, and Field Service to ensure flawless project execution.
- Field Commissioning: Travel to customer sites (10%–25%) to lead installations, perform final testing, and provide high-level troubleshooting to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Generate detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of project iterations and field adjustments.
What You Bring
- Education: A degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or specialized certifications from Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
- Technical Mastery: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 and Allen-Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix).
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Proven ability to troubleshoot HMI integration and PLC logic in real-world environments.
- Communication: Strong English verbal and written skills for technical reporting and customer-facing interactions.
- Reliability: A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for field assignments.

- Compensation: The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year. (Actual salary offered may be lower or higher due to factors such as knowledge, experience, skillset, etc.)
