Job Overview:
An IT Infrastructure Administrator is a technical professional responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and operation of a company's computer systems and servers.

Duties:

• Installing and maintaining hardware and software: Server administrators install and maintain hardware and software and upgrade them to help develop a company's computer systems and security.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting: Server administrators monitor servers, troubleshoot user issues, and resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems.
• Creating user accounts and recovering lost passwords: Server administrators create new user accounts and recover lost passwords.
• Developing and implementing security best practices: Server administrators audit security systems and policies and develop and implement security best practices.
• Providing backup and recovery options: Server administrators develop and implement a plan for data protection that involves performing and testing regular backups.
• Designing and implementing IT solutions: Server administrators design and implement IT solutions and develop and implement network maintenance standard operating procedures.
• Planning and implementing backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in the event of hardware failures or other disasters. This includes scheduling and monitoring backups and executing disaster recovery procedures when necessary.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes. Preparing reports on server performance, security incidents, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Five or more years of experience as an IT Server Administrator

• Expertise in implementing, configuring and testing IT solutions

• Strong creative and analytical thinking

• Proficiency in server operating system such Windows Server.

• Familiarity with server hardware, network protocols, and virtualization technologies.

Educational Background:

-A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
