Job description

Support LAN/CAN/MAN network infrastructure and enterprise security

architecture

●Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

●Maintain TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching, and L2/L3 network controls

●Support stateful firewalls, access controls, and packet capture solutions

●Provide Tier 1 network support and participate in on-call rotations

●Track and resolve tasks using Remedy or ticketing systems

●Support virtualization platforms including VMware and Solaris containers

Design and develop low-level software in C, C++, or Assembly

– Lead a team supporting SIGINT, CNO, or cyber operations

Participate as a primary security engineering representative on multi-disciplinary

teams for secure system design, development, and integration

– Enforce IA policies and standards across multiple enclaves and classified

environments

– Conduct risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, and provide mitigation strategies

– Support certification and accreditation activities in compliance with NIST RMF and

NISCAP processes

– Provide guidance to system owners, administrators, and engineers on policy

implementation and system security

– Review security documentation for completeness and regulatory compliance

– Recommend system-level solutions to satisfy security requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security

System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college

Support validation and administration of secure systems across Unix, Linux, and

database environments

– Analyze data flows, query syntax, and traffic manipulation for operational

effectiveness

– Maintain, configure, and secure SQL Server and RDBMS systems

– Provide system administration for Solaris, UNIX, Linux, and SGI/HP hardware

– Apply programming skills in C, Perl, or Bourne Shell to support system and database

operations

– Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and certification requirements

– Reverse-engineer binaries and exploit vulnerabilities

– Develop mission-critical software emphasizing performance and stealth

– Collaborate with analysts and mission personnel to translate requirements into

technical solutions

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
