Ink Systems, Inc. is looking for an experienced individual to join our team located in Rochester, NY. The right candidate will possess good work-ethic, be highly motivated, a team player, and reliable.

Basic Job Description

• Generate batch tickets for production
• Weigh, mix and Q.C. batches
• Log and track ink usage and open and close jobs at press side
• Use spectrophotometer equipment and software to QC batches vs. master wet samples
• Log and communicate information/issues to co-workers and manager
• Technical press side support
• Knowledge of ink formulations
• Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations
• Ability to distinguish colors precisely
• Knowledge of color matching
• Weigh batches of ink and process batch tickets
• Ability to mix ink
• Ability to manually lift up to 32 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. safely.

General Requirements

• 2+ years experience batch weighing
• 2+ years experience color matching of lithographic and/or flexographic printing
• Understand all safety rules and procedures.
• Must be able to perform all tasks/duties required in an appropriate time frame.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Work and communicate well with co-workers, supervisors.
• Ability to have reliable transportation back and forth to work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand both oral and written instructions.
• Working and standing up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm Mon - Fri OR 10:30 pm - 7:00 am Sun - Thur

Salary: Starting at $25/hr+ DOE
