Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology operations, development, and strategy. This role will work closely with the CIO and is responsible for overseeing IT functions, managing staff, and ensuring projects align with business objectives. The IT Director will assist in policy development, continuous improvement, and risk assessment while supporting day-to-day technical and support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Technology Leadership & Strategy
· Manage and mentor a team of developers.
· Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Gather requirements, assess needs, and align IT solutions with business goals.
· Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IT systems and solutions.
Team Development & Management:
· Lead, mentor, and develop IT development staff, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
· Assign work, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of projects.
· Conduct performance assessments and identify training opportunities.
· Assess and mitigate technology risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Operations & Oversight:
· Manage and oversee file processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and security.
· Ensure proper documentation of IT systems, processes, and policies.
· Provide application and integration support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
· Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve operations.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement across IT functions.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Proven experience in IT leadership, team management, and strategic planning.
· Expertise in system design, documentation, and oversight.
· Experience leading development teams.
· Development and SQL backgrounds strongly preferred.
· Healthcare or PBM experience a plus.
· Strong problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
