Job Description:

A fast growing, IT firm that has a 27-year history of success is searching for a dynamic Systems Administrator team member to be responsible for providing onsite and remote maintenance and support with a team of experts.

Basic Functions:

· Client Communications: Keeping clients informed of progress and critical issues.

· IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, and VMware.

· Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.

· Support services for cloud technologies: Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, GSuite, Salesforce

· Network Support: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, access points and physical security devices.

· Remote Access Support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Azure Virtual Desktop.

· System documentation to include system reviews and recommendations.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

· Uphold customer service satisfaction.

· Work in a team and communicate effectively.

· Escalate service issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels.

· Maintain specific knowledge of the client’s technology and how it relates to their business strategy and goals.

· Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers’ needs.

· Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.

· Review IT publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Minimum Ability Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Security & Compliance features.

· Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Azure AD, virtual machines, networking, security, and cost optimization.

· Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management, policy enforcement, and security configurations.

· Professional IT Certifications, such as these are a plus: Microsoft Certifications, SonicWall CSSA, ConnectWise CCPA, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP.

· Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.

· Diagnosing skills for technical issues.

· Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate client requirements.

· Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changes.

· Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.

· Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.

· Ability to diligently document issues, designs and resolutions.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

· BA/BS in technical discipline preferred.

· Minimum of 3 years of IT experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
