Job description
Data Scientist - Engineer
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation.
- Experience working with Apache Spark and Databricks workspaces for advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI, with an understanding of UX design principles for effective data storytelling.
- Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms, model development, and evaluation techniques.
- Experience with multivariate statistical analysis and tools such as SIMCA for data exploration and predictive modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with business, engineering, and product teams.
- Ability to integrate diverse data sources (e.g., PAT, LIMS, MES, OSIsoft PI) for end-to-end process analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
Industrial Automation - Technical education
The contractor will support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated equipment, as well as ensuring validated states are preserved through application backup and restore.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintaining automated equipment (PLCs, motion control, HMIs, RFIDs, robots, and vision systems).
- Perform repair and replacement of computers connected to manufacturing equipment.
- Execute application backup/restore to maintain validated system state.
- Support integration and configuration of automation technologies.
- Document activities per quality and regulatory standards.
- Provide flexibility to support business demands (overtime, holidays, weekends, or night shifts when required).
