Role Overview:
As the sole UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing an intuitive, engaging, and user-centered experience that drives user engagement and satisfaction. Your design work will lay the foundation for an industry-defining engagement platform that prioritizes seamless interaction across web and mobile platforms. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to define and execute design strategies that increase user engagement, drive conversion, and contribute to the success of the platform and company.
This role is perfect for a self-driven designer with a proven track record of creating UX/UI designs that increase user engagement and retention.

- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), prototyping tools, and user research methodologies.
- Healthcare Domain Knowledge (a Plus): Experience designing for the healthcare industry is a significant advantage, as it demonstrates an understanding of the unique challenges and complexities of this domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough user research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis, to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Design intuitive and user-friendly information architectures, user flows, and interaction models for complex healthcare applications (e.g., patient portals, EMR systems, telehealth platforms).
- Create high-fidelity prototypes (e.g., using Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and conduct iterative testing to refine designs based on user feedback.
- Effectively communicate design rationale and decisions to cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, product managers, stakeholders).
- Lead the design process to create highly optimized, user-centric experiences that drive sustained engagement, compelling users to consistently activate and interact with our technology tools on a regular basis.
- Ensures seamless and consistent user experiences across web and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.), leveraging responsive and adaptive design principles to optimize usability across all devices.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring alignment with the product’s strategic vision and user needs.
- Create and/or leverage AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to enhance the user experience, streamline design processes, and create personalized, intuitive, and accessible interfaces.
- Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure that the platform delivers an innovative and user-centric experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of creating interfaces that drive significant engagement growth, particularly in high-volume environments (e.g., scaling engagement from 1M to 2M users). Please include relevant examples or metrics in your portfolio.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your experience in designing web and mobile solutions, with an emphasis on user engagement and product interaction.
- Knowledge of front-end development or experience working closely with engineering teams to implement designs.
- A solid understanding of user-centered design principles, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Proven ability to optimize user engagement through thoughtful UX/UI decisions and design strategies that drive key metrics (e.g., conversion, retention, satisfaction).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail, with a focus on both usability and visual design consistency.
