Job Title: Security Architect – Microsoft Security Solutions
Position Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of security solutions built on Microsoft’s security ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in shaping a secure and compliant environment, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Defender, Purview, and the broader Microsoft compliance and data protection stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and manage enterprise security solutions using Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and related toolsets
- Lead comprehensive efforts in cybersecurity and network security across cloud and hybrid environments
- Conduct security toolset audits and recommend enhancements to align with Microsoft’s evolving compliance frameworks
- Utilize tools like Compliance Manager, Communication Compliance, lifecycle management, DLP, and Information Protection to drive governance and security initiatives
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic sounding board for other internal security teams, offering design insight and problem-solving support
- Collaborate with a seasoned team of 12 professionals, including senior security engineers, architects, and a team manager
- Provide both high-level strategic guidance and direct hands-on involvement in solution implementation and management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and managing Microsoft-based security architecture
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Security tools (Defender, Purview, Compliance Manager, DLP, Information Protection)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft-aligned security frameworks, data governance, and regulatory compliance standards
- Experience in both cybersecurity and network security disciplines
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence across technical teams
- Comfortable balancing hands-on technical work with strategic planning and leadership
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
