We are seeking a strong candidate with deep experience in cloud-native, full-stack, and UI development. This role focuses on building and maintaining user-facing applications using React, while also contributing to backend and cloud infrastructure design. to join our growing healthcare SaaS organization in Nashville, TN. As a member of the software engineering team, the successful candidate will work on emerging technologies to enhance ProviderTrust's existing products and develop innovative products and solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong ability to design complex systems and solve high-impact problems.
  • Depth of experience in full stack and cloud native development delivering on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), serverless architectures, and orchestration (ECS/Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, load balancers, API gateways), security (IAM roles, encryption), identifying bottlenecks in distributed systems, and performance/cost optimization.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification is a plus.
  • Depth of experience and practical knowledge of event-driven architecture.
  • Expert in troubleshooting, profiling, insights, and dashboards.
  • Strong command of Java or C# and associated libraries optimized for cloud environments.
  • Strong experience in cloud native databases: SQL (Aurora/RDS), query performance, and document data stores (DynamoDB).
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, rolling dark, branching, and code pipelines.
  • Experience in ReactJS or other modern JavaScript front end stack. Experience with TypeScript preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in web services design and delivery on REST and/or GraphQL.
  • Strong experience and ability to mentor, train, and lead other engineers.
  • Extensive experience in decomposing monolithic applications into microservices and implementing scalable, cloud-native architectures to optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Design: Regularly leads design discussions for your squad, aligning to our technical vision while ensuring delivery of simple cloud-native solutions that are not over-engineered.
  • Deliver: Pragmatically improves our coding practices in an effort to deliver simple solutions, while helping your team to efficiently meet their accountabilities, roadmap, and goals.
  • Document: Improves how we document and test our code bases.
  • Collaborate: Works with architects, leads, and stakeholders ensuring that we marry the needs of our business with the best practices of the technological landscape.
  • Mentorship and thought leadership: Consistently works with other squads. Regularly mentors other members of their team.
  • Communicate: Great communicator. Able to boil down complex technical concepts into terms stakeholders and business users can understand.
  • Maintain: Actively looks for patterns and opportunities to improve maintainability and reliability.
