IT Manager – Systems & Networks (Hands-On)

Highly successful MSP seeking a working manager for our small but talented team of IT professionals. We are a privately held MSP providing IT services to a wide variety of businesses.
Our new IT Manager – Systems and Networking will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing firewall installations and upgrades
- Configuring layer 3 switches
- Maintain servers, networking equipment, cloud-based solutions, and applications
- Architecting and implementing network infrastructures, backup and DR solutions, and creative IT solutions for our clients
- Building and managing virtual environments
- Implementing and managing MFA, endpoint detection access control policies and audit responses
- Migrating client systems to cloud platforms
- Office 365 remediation
- Email migration from Intermedia to Office 365
- Leading the team and providing technical escalation support
- Serve as a technical advisor during the new client sales
- Document solution designs, implementation plans, and post-deployment support procedures
- Data center moves to include server decommissioning
- Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to proactively recommend improvements and innovations
- Support internal teams with technical guidance, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Developing and refining helpdesk SOP’s, processes

Qualifications:
- Experience working for an MSP with application support, firewall, server, network, and cloud management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Drivers license, ability to pass drug test and criminal background check

Pay: $85,000.00 - $103,500.00 per hour
