Job Title: Jr Full Stack Software Engineer, Implementation & Support

Days/Hours: Monday – FRIDAY 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Status: Regular Full Time – On site Only

Department: Application Development

Summary:

This position is responsible for reviewing a technical helpdesk and answering technical questions, alongside debugging, creating, and implementing custom client modules and supporting and upgrading proprietary software for existing client implementations.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Review ticketing system on ongoing basis and assume and resolve tickets for technical support from internal team members or escalated clients’ issues with occasional aid.
• Identify, report, and resolve bugs in web, desktop, and console applications and data workflows.
• Collaborate in group design and brainstorming meetings with your technical and non-technical peers.
• Perform peer code review, and respectfully accept peer feedback.
• Perform assignments as part of a project team for medium projects, or as part of a team or independently on small projects.
• Work directly with internal and external non-technical and technical teams.
• Create and perform written test cases of software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Technical Functions:

• Full Stack .NET Web Development (ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Forms, C#, T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Full Stack .NET Desktop Application Development (Forms, C#, T-SQL)
• Debugging and Bug Identification / Resolution.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience with an Object-Oriented Language and SQL required (C# preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving skills.

Additional Skill Desired:

• Tech knowledge: Entities Framework, Batch Scripting, Windows PowerShell
• Industry knowledge: Remittance Processing, Document Scanning & Imaging, and/or Merchant Services, Online Payment Processing
