We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Scientist with experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Python or R, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Assist in building, testing, and deploying machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data visualization to identify patterns and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, business, product) to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Support senior data scientists in model evaluation, optimization, and implementation.
- Communicate insights and findings through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Stay updated with emerging data science tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a data-driven role (internship or full-time).
- Basic Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn) or R.
- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies in AI and ML.

Pay: $68,776.33 - $89,988.70 per year
