About Us
At Express Marketing Solutions, we are a marketing company located in the heart of Torrance. As we expand our company, we are looking for an AI Engineer to join our Team. This role will support the development of a new AI Voice platform that is currently in its early stages and managed under our marketing company.

Job Overview
In this role, you’ll be assisting in designing, building, and maintaining the APIs that power our AI Voice Agent application. You’ll ensure that our API layer is secure, scalable, and well-documented, while reviewing and merging code contributions from contractors to maintain a consistent, production-ready codebase. This role is ideal for someone with backend experience, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for building reliable, high-performing systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications powering our Voice AI Agent.
• Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines, LangChain workflows, and LLM integrations.
• Build and manage APIs and backend services for real-time AI interactions.
• Collaborate with ML and data engineers to fine-tune and deploy AI models.
• Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and reliable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of software development experience (full-stack or backend).
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js preferred).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain, or basic RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of API design, cloud services, and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
