Senior Manager, Network

Seven Staffing Solutions is a staffing agency working with a great manufacturing company, and we are currently hiring for the role below.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Networking will lead the strategy, design, and execution of enterprise networking across a growing, multi-site manufacturing organization. This role is critical in supporting business growth, system scalability, and network security—especially in environments shaped by mergers and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience integrating and standardizing complex network infrastructures while ensuring uptime, performance, and security.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise networking roadmap.
• Standardize and optimize network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Establish architecture, standards, and governance for LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and emerging technologies.
• Balance speed of integration with operational stability.

M&A Integration Leadership

• Lead network integration efforts for newly acquired companies.
• Assess inherited technologies, identify gaps, and develop phased consolidation plans.
• Partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

Global & Multi-Site Connectivity

• Architect scalable, secure network solutions using SD-WAN, cloud interconnects, and carrier services.
• Optimize network performance, reliability, and cost.
• Design redundancy and high-availability solutions to support 24/7 operations.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee monitoring, incident response, and lifecycle management of network systems.
• Define and track KPIs and SLAs for availability, performance, and security.
• Manage vendors, contracts, and service providers.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing networking team.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.
• Provide executive-level updates on strategy, risk, and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership or management role
• Proven experience integrating and modernizing networks post–merger or acquisition
• Strong expertise in:
• WAN / SD-WAN
• MPLS, VPN, BGP
• Cloud interconnects
• Data center networking
• Experience developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Hands-on technical work is required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Networking vendor certifications required
• Ability to travel up to 15%
