<Job Summary>

We are seeking an IT professional with direct experience in Windows systems administration and intermediate exposure to Microsoft Cloud technologies (Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, with the ability to manage both on-premises and cloud systems, and a working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls. This is an intermediate-level position (System Admin 2) ideal for someone looking to take ownership of diverse infrastructure tasks while developing deeper expertise in hybrid cloud and security operations.

<Duties>

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP).
  • Perform Microsoft Cloud (Entra ID/M365/Azure) administrative tasks (user and group management, resource provisioning, policy configuration, access control, and monitoring).
  • Support and manage Palo Alto firewalls (policy management, VPN configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls).
  • Assist with identity and access management (IAM) and security configurations across hybrid environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve systems and network issues; participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on IT infrastructure, cloud, and security projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Limited quarterly travel is required to affiliate locations and corporate headquarters.

<Desired Skill Sets>

  • Direct experience in Windows systems administration and intermediate exposure to Microsoft Cloud technologies (Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure).
  • A solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, with the ability to manage on-premises and cloud systems.
  • A working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.

<Requirements>

  • 3-5 year of experience in IT systems and/or network administration.
  • Practical experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure administration (user management, resource provisioning, policy configuration).
  • Entra ID (Azure AD) integration and management.
  • Palo Alto firewalls (policy management, VPNs, troubleshooting).
  • Networking fundamentals include VLANs, TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.

<Preferred Qualifications>

  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, or SC-900.
  • Palo Alto Certification (PCCSA or PCNSA).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation tools.
  • Understanding of security best practices, including conditional access, least privilege, and hybrid identity management.
  • Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, ExpressRoute, SD-Wan).

<Salary Range>

  • $76,000-$86,000, plus bonus plan participation.
