Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in .NET to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that power our command-and-control systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable code that meets the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components for mission-critical command-and-control systems focusing on .NET and database technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) to support application development and integration with databases.
- Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to software and database performance.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.
- Stay current with software and technology advancements, proposing innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Expertise with Oracle, Postgres, or SQL Server database development: including SQL, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Experience with software development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of application-database integration and API development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to travel, if required, to customer sites for testing, troubleshooting, and other end-user activities.
- Ideal Candidate will also have one or more of the following:
- Experience as a full stack engineer.
- Experience with .NET related APIs (WinForms, WPF, MVC, etc)
- Experience with Web related APIs and markup (Javascript, HTML, JSON, etc)
- Experience with version controls systems like git.
- Experience with real-time environments, systems and communications.
- Experience integrating real-time devices using communication protocols such as MODBUS or DNP3.
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
