Company Overview
Central Florida Based Manufacturing & Distribution company seeks an experienced hands-on Technology Manager to oversee all aspects of the firm’s technological needs.
Summary
Significant attention will be paid to NetSuite administration and configuration, relating to various middleware platforms; finance, ordering, and fulfillment; and ecommerce functional components, including documentation and governance related to system updates and changes. You will lead technology-related projects across these key areas, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements, adhere to quality standards, and are fully tested. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in ERP development/implementation, with the ability to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot the platform. Ideally, you will also have experience working within a manufacturing/distribution environment having close familiarity with middleware applications running inventory management, point-of sale, shipping, manufacturing, ecommerce. Additionally, this position will be instrumental in leading the firm in more data- driven decision making, through business intelligence development and data analysis – supporting the company’s functional business leaders. This is a remote role with onsite requirement (monthly travel to corporate offices).
Responsibilities
- Oversee NetSuite and NetSuite-related projects, including implementations, enhancements, integrations, and business initiatives across CRM, finance and ordering, and ecommerce.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize NetSuite customizations, scripts, and integrations to enhance functionality and support evolving business needs.
- Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements, adhere to quality standards, and are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align initiatives with business priorities and to ensure seamless system integration.
- Create and manage custom fields, records, forms, workflows, reports, dashboards, and saved searches.
- Assist with daily operations and maintenance of the company’s various technology applications within the platform.
- Develop and implement business intelligence supporting the company’s core functions, driving efficiencies and cost savings.
- Support change management processes.
- Oversee overall platform administration, performance, security, and compliance.
- Oversee the integration, configuration and maintenance of the firm’s ecommerce platform (Shopify).
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Statistics) from an Accredited University.
- 10+ years of experience with ERP development/deployment, CRM, and Ecommerce, including system implementation, configuration, customization, and administration.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders—both internal team members and external partners—in the implementation and optimization of technology solutions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, coupled with thorough attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of core financial processes (Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, etc.) and sales processes (Lead to Opportunity, Opportunity to Order, Order to Fulfillment, etc.).
- Background in BI tool implementation and configuration (Tableau, Power BI)
- Background working intensely with manufacturing and distribution companies.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
