We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in [AWS / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform] services, DevOps automation, and cloud security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure to support business applications and services.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize cost, performance, and security of cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain compliance with security standards and governance policies.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–7 years of hands-on cloud experience.
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, and security in a cloud context.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
- Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Scripting knowledge: Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS: Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer
- Azure: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Google Cloud: Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer
Platform-Specific FocusFor AWS:
- Experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Familiarity with AWS CLI and SDKs.
For Microsoft Azure:
- Hands-on with Azure VMs, App Services, Functions, AKS, Virtual Networks, and Storage Accounts.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Monitor, and Resource Manager templates (ARM/Bicep).
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub Actions.
For Google Cloud Platform (GCP):
- Proficiency with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE, and BigQuery.
- Experience with IAM, Cloud Monitoring, and Deployment Manager or Terraform.
- Understanding of GCP networking, billing, and security tools.
