Job Summary-
The Senior ERP Developer serves as a technical lead within the IT/IS Development Operations team and is responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of complex ERP solutions across Avante Health Solutions’ enterprise systems, primarily within the Acumatica ERP platform. This position provides advanced technical expertise in ERP architecture, integrations, and system optimization while ensuring scalability, data integrity, and process efficiency.
The Senior ERP Developer will collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, IT staff, and third-party partners to define requirements, architect solutions, and mentor junior developers. This role drives innovation and continuous improvement in ERP development practices, supporting Avante’s strategic objectives and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
· Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex customizations in Acumatica ERP using the Acumatica Framework (C#, .NET, and customization projects).
· Architect, implement, and oversee integrations between Acumatica and multiple enterprise systems using web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.
· Serve as technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Acumatica configuration, performance optimization, and best-practice ERP development standards.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop scalable technical specifications, and translate them into robust ERP solutions.
· Manage and perform advanced SQL development including stored procedures, views, triggers, and performance tuning.
· Oversee ERP upgrade cycles, ensuring backward compatibility and smooth deployment of custom modules.
· Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, documentation quality, and adherence to SDLC best practices.
· Mentor and train developers and analysts on Acumatica development, integrations, and system troubleshooting.
· Provide leadership in system architecture decisions, data flow design, and automation strategies.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, API mappings, and deployment protocols.
· Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure ERP environments meet internal and external data protection requirements.
· Stay abreast of emerging ERP technologies, Acumatica SDK updates, and industry trends to proactively recommend system improvements.
· Provide advanced technical support and escalation assistance for critical ERP issues and integrations.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Training/Education/Competence
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· 5–8 years of ERP development experience, including at least 3 years of direct Acumatica development.
· Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and Acumatica xRP Framework.
· Strong expertise in SQL Server—query optimization, database architecture, and performance tuning.
· Proven experience integrating Acumatica with CRM, HR, and financial systems through REST/SOAP APIs.
· Demonstrated experience in project leadership, managing technical deliverables and timelines.
· Deep understanding of ERP functional areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Service Management, and Manufacturing.
· Familiarity with source control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
· Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization. Ability to read through reporting and compliance requirements.
Math & Reasoning: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and willingness to adapt to change and take the initiative.
Physical and Environmental Elements
Physical Demands: Ability to sit continuously for over 3/4 of normal work shift, and stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for at least 1/4 of the normal work shift. Ability to climb stairs. Ability to talk or hear continuously. Ability to see clearly to do all work-related tasks (clear or corrected vision at 20 inches or less). Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 3/4 of the normal work shift.
Work Environment: Position is typically performed in the office environment with standard equipment and moderate noise levels (examples: computers, printers, fax, copiers, light traffic, and phone); however, will often interact with the production/warehouse environment. Thus, the employee works in a normal office setting and will travel to an open warehouse area where temperatures are subject to outdoor conditions in terms of cold and heat. There is exposure to various tools and equipment as well as forklift operations and corresponding noise levels.
