Responsibilities – Director of IT
- Develop and execute a company-wide IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a small internal IT team while managing external vendors.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, ERP software, and manufacturing-specific applications.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO, ITAR) and implement robust data protection measures.
- Integrate IT systems with manufacturing processes, IoT devices, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Support end-users across U.S. and international locations through training and technical assistance.
- Manage IT budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and deliver cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications – Director of Information Technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or MBA a plus).
- 7–10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong background in manufacturing or industrial IT environments.
- Experience with ERP systems (AS400/iSeries highly preferred).
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
