Summary

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join Aero Service Group. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for technology and a desire to provide exceptional IT support, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engages in responding to and effectively resolving helpdesk issues submitted through email, voice or in person.
  • Serve as a first point of contact supporting issues involving servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange, networking, security, POS system, and Menu management.
  • Produces high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience, including maintaining Technical Knowledgebase Article’s.
  • Responds to high priority issues during non-business hours when assigned.
  • Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensures communication of report findings is understood by team members.
  • Setup user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Configure, maintain and upgrade office and restaurant network equipment and servers
  • Participate in on call rotation
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of time.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of technology trends, emerging tools, and their potential application to business operations
  • Moderate knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud computing
  • Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR applicable certificates
  • Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in IT roles
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining IT systems
  • Familiarity with Sonicwall Firewalls, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
