Salary Range: $87,900 – $145,000 (Annual Rate)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of experience/training, in one or more of the following fields: computer science, engineering, or computer information systems.
• 1 to 3+ years of experience in information technology, database architecture, or software development.
• Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Strong proficiency inSQL optimization, data modeling, and translating logical models into high-performance physical designs.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows system administration.
• Skilled in PowerShell and/or Unix shell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience with database security, schema management, and documentation development.
• Experience working on large design efforts or in cross-functional project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to triage issues and escalate appropriately.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain operational stability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Database Administrator certification (Microsoft, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise-grade, high-volume databases for complex environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization techniques and technologies for scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
• Ability to interpret and apply service level agreements, policies, and procedures into actionable IT deliverables.
• Expertise in one or more of the following: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Access, or cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
• Experience in higher education or healthcare IT environments.
