Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Engineer who is hungry to learn and excited to grow with a startup. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the MintCollect by working directly with the founder to build new features, fix bugs, and improve app performance

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features in our iOS app (Swift/SwiftUI)
- Support backend services (Python/Flask, AWS, Postgres)
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs into applications.
- Implement various processes such as version control, code management, etc
- Collaborate on feature design, testing, and debugging
- Contribute ideas to improve product and user experience
Qualifications
- Familiarity with SwiftUI and Python/Flask
- Basic understanding of database management systems (Postgres, SQL basics)
- Experience with AWS cloud services is a STRONG plus (EC2, S3, and RDS)
- Ability to implement third-party APIs
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Be eager to learn and adapt quickly
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with payment processing APIs (Stripe, PayPal, etc)
- Knowledge of REST APIs (auth, webhooks, error handling)
- Familiarity with secure transaction flows
- Familiarity with various trading card games such as Pokemon, Yugioh, Magic, OnePiece, etc
- Familiarity with Android and Web development
Compensation
- $60k-$75k + Profit Share
- Total comp potential: $100k+ as the company grows
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
