Role Summary

The Junior Security Analyst supports ReFrame Solutions’ information security program by assisting in the daily operation, monitoring, documentation, and evidence collection required by the company’s security policies and plans. This role focuses on executing defined procedures, maintaining audit-ready documentation, supporting incident response activities, and assisting with vulnerability, access, logging, risk, and third-party security processes under senior direction.

Access Control & Identity Management

• Assist with user access provisioning and de-provisioning documentation.
• Support periodic access reviews and least-privilege validation.
• Track physical access badge issuance and revocation.

Audit Logging & Monitoring

• Review SIEM alerts under supervision.
• Assist with log review documentation and evidence preparation.
• Escalate suspicious activity per Incident Response Plan.

Incident Response Support

• Assist with incident triage and documentation.
• Collect logs, evidence, and timelines.
• Support post-incident reviews.

Vulnerability & Patch Management

• Assist with vulnerability scans and tracking remediation.
• Maintain POA&M documentation.
• Support penetration test remediation tracking.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Foundational understanding of security principles.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant security certifications such as Security+ or similar.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and patch deployment processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Hands-on experience supporting incident response or penetration testing activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
