Database Project Administrator

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a respected organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a dedicated Database Project Administrator to support a major database reorganization and migration initiative. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work alongside a senior-level Database Consultant and contribute directly to a high-impact project.

The Database Project Administrator will take direction from the Database Consultant and help ensure files are properly reviewed, organized, labeled, and migrated into a new system that improves long-term accessibility and structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Database Project Administrator will:

  • Assist with sorting, labeling, tracking, and preparing digital files and folders for migration

  • Execute tasks as outlined by the Database Consultant and maintain clear communication around task progress

  • Monitor and track file organization efforts using spreadsheets, tracking systems, or project management tools

  • Support quality control and confirm that files are correctly categorized and migrated

  • Maintain documentation related to access, permissions, and file readiness

  • Provide consistent updates to the Database Consultant and internal stakeholders

  • Participate in organizing and improving the structure of the file system to support the goals of the project

IDEAL BACKGROUND
The ideal Database Project Administrator will bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, project coordination, or file management role

  • Comfort working with cloud-based systems (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive) and file organization protocols

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset

  • A professional, discreet approach when handling sensitive or confidential documents

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow technical direction precisely

WORK ARRANGEMENT

  • The Database Project Administrator has a projected 40 hours/week

  • Some onsite work preferred, particularly during critical phases of file preparation and migration

  • Hybrid flexibility may be available depending on candidate and project needs
