Database Project Administrator
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a respected organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a dedicated Database Project Administrator to support a major database reorganization and migration initiative. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work alongside a senior-level Database Consultant and contribute directly to a high-impact project.
The Database Project Administrator will take direction from the Database Consultant and help ensure files are properly reviewed, organized, labeled, and migrated into a new system that improves long-term accessibility and structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Database Project Administrator will:
Assist with sorting, labeling, tracking, and preparing digital files and folders for migration
Execute tasks as outlined by the Database Consultant and maintain clear communication around task progress
Monitor and track file organization efforts using spreadsheets, tracking systems, or project management tools
Support quality control and confirm that files are correctly categorized and migrated
Maintain documentation related to access, permissions, and file readiness
Provide consistent updates to the Database Consultant and internal stakeholders
Participate in organizing and improving the structure of the file system to support the goals of the project
IDEAL BACKGROUND
The ideal Database Project Administrator will bring:
Previous experience in an administrative, project coordination, or file management role
Comfort working with cloud-based systems (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive) and file organization protocols
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
A professional, discreet approach when handling sensitive or confidential documents
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow technical direction precisely
WORK ARRANGEMENT
The Database Project Administrator has a projected 40 hours/week
Some onsite work preferred, particularly during critical phases of file preparation and migration
Hybrid flexibility may be available depending on candidate and project needs
