Job description
Summary:
Responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, operating systems, and business operations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users experiencing IT-related issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot networks, servers, hardware (including printers), operating systems, and application technical issues
· Diagnose hardware and software issues
· Assist with maintaining network connectivity
· Create and maintain user accounts
· Conduct in-depth analysis of system usage, user complaints
· Receive calls and emails from users, evaluate the issues to determine the cause of the problem, and resolve issues via phone, email, or in person
· Escalate complex issues as needed
· Collaborate with others on various projects including but not limited to system upgrade, software deployments, network improvements, and security initiatives
· Participate on cyber security team
· Document processes, maintenance solutions, support, security, and backups
· Perform security assessments
· Assist in new software installations and upgrades
· Evaluate potential software and hardware solutions
· Assist with IT department projects
· Utilize and update ticketing system
· Develop training materials
· Train users on software and hardware
· Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts.
· Install and terminate network cabling
· Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement

· 5 years of recent server administration experience required; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
· A+ Certification
· Network+ Certification
· Security+ Certification
· Knowledge with VMware
· Windows Server and Windows10 and 11
· Exchange server
· Enterprise antivirus
· Firewall
· Enterprise backup software
· Vulnerability scanning and analysis
· Mobile device manager
· SQL Server
· Group Policy
· Customer service abilities and technical expertise
· Time management and customer service skills that ensure both end-user satisfaction and the successful execution of IT projects
· Ability to work independently, identify and resolve complex problems, both within a team and individually, with a focus on root cause analysis and increasing stability
· Able to manage work flow and competing priorities, prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and work within deadlines
· Read, write, and speak English fluently and communicate effectively with all contacts
· U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR requirement)
· Sense of urgency
· Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines
· Well organized in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
