Job description

About Felten Group:
Felten Group is a full-service architecture and structural engineering firm specializing in residential design for homebuilders across the United States. With offices in Phoenix, Denver, and the Maple Valley, our team supports a wide range of project types, from single-family communities to multifamily and commercial amenity buildings. We are committed to delivering accurate, buildable documents that align with client goals and construction realities. Our firm is focused on continuous improvement, cross-disciplinary coordination, and practical implementation of emerging tools and technologies. Felten Group has recently added Revit as a production tool and is expanding Revit-based workflows across all teams and offices.

About the Role:
Felten Group is hiring a BIM Manager to lead the firm-wide transition from CAD-based methods to a standardized, Revit-driven production environment. This role combines leadership in BIM standards development with direct participation in project modeling and documentation. The BIM Manager will be responsible for training staff, building tools and workflows, and enforcing consistent application of BIM across disciplines. Success in this role depends on hands-on involvement in active projects, development of scalable processes, and the ability to guide teams through change with clarity and rigor.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Phoenix office. Occasional travel may be required to support implementation across regional offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Lead the full migration of project teams from CAD to Revit, including training, workflow definition, and standards enforcement.

· Develop and document BIM standards, protocols, and best practices aligned with production needs.

· Manage Revit templates and family libraries, ensuring consistency across all offices and disciplines.

· Work directly on production projects as needed to support deadlines, validate workflows, or model complex conditions.

· Deliver structured Revit training programs and track progress across staff roles and offices.

· Provide technical support and guidance to production staff, BIM Coordinators, and project managers.

· Participate in QA/QC processes and develop tools to support review and error reduction.

· Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of future BIM staff.
