The Amatriot Group is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in data science, machine learning, and Python-based automation who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Data Scientist will play a key role in building intelligent systems, streamlining processes, and delivering actionable insights that drive business outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced data analysis and modeling to support business decisions and operational improvements.
• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and classification tasks.
• Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Implement automated workflows and data pipelines using Python and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver clear, actionable insights.
• Work independently to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, etc.).
• Strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
• Prior experience in a contractor or consulting role.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
• Background in the telecommunications industry.
