Job Title: Senior Certified MuleSoft Developer

1yr. Contract onsite position in Orange County, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API-led connectivity, enterprise integrations, and cloud-based architectures, and will play a key role in technical decision-making, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring integration best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Build and manage RESTful APIs using API-led connectivity (Experience, Process, and System APIs)
• Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance
• Develop reusable components, connectors, and integration patterns
• Integrate MuleSoft solutions with systems such as Salesforce, ERP, CRM, databases, and third-party applications
• Ensure high performance, security, reliability, and scalability of integrations
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps best practices
• Perform code reviews and enforce MuleSoft development standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex integration issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams
• Mentor and guide junior MuleSoft developers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of integration development experience, including 3+ years with MuleSoft
• Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4, DataWeave 2.0, and Anypoint Studio
• Expertise in API design, RAML/OAS, and REST/SOAP web services
• Experience with Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and CloudHub
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.)
• Knowledge of security concepts such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, and API policies
• MuleSoft certifications (Developer, Integration Architect, or Platform Architect)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
