Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage our organization's IT infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, business processes, and disaster recovery. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to provide technical support while ensuring that our IT systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server, including tasks like configuration, database management, backup and recovery and log shipping.
- Management of domain services such as Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS etc.
- Formulate and execute strategic plans for IT systems that support business goals.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard critical data.
- Oversee the company's technology projects from inception to completion.
- Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot any IT-related issues.
- Evaluate and specify the most appropriate server hardware specifications and configurations.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls and comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and ports.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
- Design and manage network architecture and administration, including Layer 2 & 3 switches, firewalls, routers, access points, VLANS and VPNs.
Qualifications
- Applicant must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience in an IT management role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and service management principles.
- Windows Server and Microsoft SQL administration and management is essential.
- Solid understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure is required.
- Understanding of server hardware components in order to specify the most appropriate configuration for the requirement.
- Understanding of business processes.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality technical support.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
