Key Responsibilities
- Manage, and maintain our production and development infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Manage in house phone server based on asterisk.
- Support our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and support the CI/CD lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Help cover for Help Desk when necessary
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator or Engineer role.
- Strong proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Ubuntu Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with configuration management tools, specifically Ansible.
- Familiarity with telephony technologies, particularly asterisk.
- Solid scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bonus Points For
- Familiarity with using DockerExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience with GitLab pipelines.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.(Ansible)
